Song of the summer

With a mere 3 days left of the summer holidays and the thought of going back to school looming over my head, I took the time to compose a list of my summer songs. The top five songs on the list are songs that I've either listened to a lot over the holidays or good songs that I've recently discovered!

So, the list goes like this:

In 5th place: Don't Tell Me... by The View

In 4th place: Good Riddance (time of your life) by Greenday

3rd place goes to Across the Nile by Amy Macdonald

In 2nd place is On a Plain by Nirvana

And finally in 1st place....

Violence by Blink 182

Coldplay!

The sensational band that is Coldplay has been around since 1996 and are still going strong! I love this band, even though people say they have a kind of 'whiney' sound- but that is part of they're style! But as always, everyone is entitled to their opinion (even if it's wrong ;) kidding!) and can decide for the,selves if they like the band. Which the should. Feel good music..?

We all have music that makes us feel good, but what songs make you want to get up and dance like a nutcase? My favourite song I have to say is Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis. It's catchy, upbeat and has a good guitar backing (I play guitar so I appreciate songs with good guitar tunes more than other instruments).
